Lizzo has opened up about the harassment lawsuit brought against her by three former backup dancers, expressing that she was completely taken aback by the allegations.

During an appearance on the “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast, the artist conveyed her profound disappointment regarding the actions of the ex-dancers, particularly since they were not involved in her 2022 “Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” tour and were individuals she had previously supported.

In her conversation with Keke, per TMZ, Lizzo shared that she had always valued their contributions as dancers. Therefore, when they unexpectedly filed legal complaints against her while she was pursuing her dreams, it was a shocking turn of events.

Moreover, the “About Damn Time” singer indicated that the sexual harassment allegations were particularly painful for her to hear.

Lizzo initially responded to the accusations in an Instagram post in August 2023, shortly after the lawsuit was filed.

As a reminder, her former backup dancers—Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez—sued the “Truth Hurts” singer, alleging sexual and racial harassment, as well as a hostile work environment.

A month later, wardrobe stylist Asha Daniels also filed a lawsuit against Lizzo, claiming she was subjected to grueling 20-hour workdays. Earlier this month, a judge dismissed Lizzo from this lawsuit, but her touring company continues to face significant allegations.
