Papoose has responded to Fat Joe’s remarks about the highly publicized drama between him and his wife, Remy Ma, which has unfolded across social media.

During an appearance on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast, Fat Joe, a close friend and collaborator of Remy, addressed the couple’s turmoil, expressing both disappointment and frustration at his inability to mediate.

“It’s a hard situation,” said Joe, who also serves as godfather to the couple’s six-year-old daughter.

“I don’t like none of that shit. What I can’t do is stop it. They won’t listen to me.”

Acknowledging the limits of his involvement, he added:

“It’s a different type of thing when you got a husband […] Nobody comes to my house and tells my wife shit. This is your husband. I can’t get in the middle of that, that’s y’all […] I wish this didn’t happen.”

Joe also shared a surprising detail about the night before the public fallout. He revealed that Remy treated him and a group of 10 men to dinner at Brooklyn Chop House, leaving him blindsided by the drama that unfolded the next morning.

“I woke up in the morning and my phone was going crazy,” he recalled. “They were like, ‘Yo! What’s going on?’ And I’m like, ‘What the fuck?’”

Rumors swirled that Papoose had been part of the dinner, suggesting the couple’s issues might not be as dire as they seem. However, Papoose quickly shut down the speculation.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, he clarified:

“Peace to my brother @fatjoe I think y’all misunderstood his interview. I was not at @brooklynchophouse with them. I do spend thousands of dollars there regularly. I love that place!”

The couple’s private struggles have been made painfully public over the past week, with both accusing the other of infidelity and more.

The feud began when Remy shared alleged text exchanges between Papoose and world champion boxer Claressa Shields, whom she referred to as his “weirdo girlfriend.”

In response, Papoose accused Remy of repeatedly cheating on him and revealed he had been seeking a divorce for some time. He escalated the feud by posting a photo of Remy with her rumored lover, battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain, whom Papoose claimed to have physically confronted.

Remy then leveled a serious accusation against Papoose, alleging domestic violence. She wrote:

“Sooo u 4got the pool never got finished being remodeled cuz u we’re [sic] attacking me in the garage and the workers called the cops to get you off of me?”

While Papoose has not addressed the domestic violence allegation, he did deny claims that he had called the cops on Remy and had her arrested.
