It’s been a year of tremendous success for DaBaby, who most recently appeared as the latest guest on the Sunday Conversation With Caleb Pressley podcast. During the episode, he discussed his latest project, HOW TF IS THIS A MIXTAPE?, which recently debuted on the Billboard 200, as well as the launch of his mental health awareness platform, DaBaby Cares. A passionate advocate for mental health, DaBaby Cares mental health platform launched during Suicide Prevention Month in honor of his late brother, Glenn Johnson, recently announced a year-long partnership with Mental Health America of Central Carolinas at the first-ever Youth Town Hall at West Charlotte High School.
The event featured the distribution of his Youth Mental Health 101 Resource Guide and provided students with vital resources on mental health. Additionally, earlier this year, he returned to his home state of North Carolina to perform as a surprise guest during 50 Cent’s set at Dreamville Fest, and later at Charlotte’s inaugural Lovin’ Life Festival, alongside an iconic lineup featuring Post Malone, Stevie Nicks, and Noah Kahan. Ahead of the set, he surprised high school students at area schools with performances and tickets to the festival to promote academic excellence. The Charlotte native efforts have been making a profound impact on his city’s community, seen through his Christmas Drive, generously donating thousands of toys and gifts to support local families.
