Rapper OG Maco is making a gradual recovery following an apparent suicide attempt. On Monday (Dec. 16), his family shared a hopeful update on his condition after he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

“We want to let OG Maco’s fans, friends, and supporters know that he is currently in critical but stable condition. He is receiving the best possible care, and we remain hopeful as he continues to fight,”

The family also requested privacy during this time, adding,

“If you wish to send any messages or reach out to the family, please do so via DM. All official updates on OG Maco’s health will be shared through his official social media accounts. This is the only source for accurate information.”

Previously, fans relied on updates from OG Maco’s manager, Poppa Perc, who revealed that doctors were “allowing his head to heal a bit before proceeding with a procedure.”

According to reports from TMZ, the rapper was found unresponsive at his home after a neighbor reported hearing a gunshot.
