Sean “Diddy” Combs has decided to end his efforts to secure bail after being denied three times by different judges. The music mogul, who is facing serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, officially withdrew his appeal last Friday (December 13).

Diddy had initially filed the appeal in September, contesting Judge Andrew Carter’s decision to keep him in custody. Carter’s ruling upheld an earlier denial of bail by Judge Robyn Tarnofsky. In October, with the case reassigned to Judge Arun Subramanian, Diddy made another attempt, but Subramanian also ruled against bail, citing his “propensity for violence.”

On Friday, Diddy’s lawyer, Alexandra Shapiro, filed documents to voluntarily dismiss the appeal. A signed statement from Diddy himself confirmed his decision to withdraw the effort.

New Lawsuits Add to Diddy’s Legal Battles

In addition to his federal case, Diddy now faces a new wave of allegations. Three anonymous lawsuits, filed in New York state Supreme Court last Thursday (December 12) by attorney Thomas Giuffra, accuse him of drugging and sexually assaulting three men between 2019 and 2022.

The lawsuits describe a “frighteningly consistent” pattern where Diddy allegedly lured the men to his home or a hotel room, spiked their drinks, and raped them. One of the accusers, a former employee who worked for Diddy from 2006 to 2018, claims he was assaulted at a Manhattan hotel in 2020 during a meeting about unpaid wages. He alleges that after consuming a drink Diddy gave him, he felt disoriented and later woke up to find himself being assaulted. When he tried to stop him, Diddy allegedly said, “I’m almost done.”

Diddy’s legal team has categorically denied the accusations, stating:

“These complaints are full of lies. We will prove them false and pursue sanctions against any unethical lawyers who filed these fictional claims.”

As these lawsuits add to Diddy’s already mounting legal troubles, the outcome of his federal case and the new allegations remain to be seen.
