Young Thug Tells Attorney “Get me off the Probation”

Atlanta born rapper Young Thug crashed his lawyer Keith Adams interview and asked him to get him off probation.

The “Lifestyle” rapper facetimed his lawyer, Keith Adams, who represented Thug’s YSL RICO – case during a podcast episode of TheFitLawyerATL. Thug who called at the same time Adams was discussing their trail flashed a peace sign across the screen. As the Youtube host congratulated Thugger on his release and wished him luck during his probation the rapper joked “Get me off the probation.”

Adams revealed during the interview that Thugger has expressed some regrets with taking the plea deal. The Atlanta native agreed to 15 years probation, no travel to metro Atlanta for 10 years with specific exceptions, random searches of his property and self for “criminal street gang paraphernalia”. He is also prohibited from contact with any alleged gang members and posting “criminal street gang or any criminal street gang activity” on social media. Among a list of other things if the rapper fails to comply he could face up to 20 years in prison.

Two remaining YSL defendants Yak Gotti and Shannon Stillwell walked free after being acquitted of all charges. Adams explained that once the verdict came down Thugger reaction was mixed. He expressed that despite being happy for the pair a part of him waws thinking “We probably should have gone all the way ’cause we would have been walking out of there with a not guilty verdict as well.”

Adams goes on to say that “I agree, we would have. And we wanted to. There came a point where Jeffery made a decision to enter that plea and go home that day, and he did. So his reaction, he was happy for them [but] there was a little bit of regret on his part.”
