EST Gee Remixes Southern Classic With New Single “The Streets”
Louisville hip-hop artist EST Gee releases new single “The Streets”, the second single from forthcoming full-length project, I Ain’t Feeling You. Once again, Gee effortlessly delivers a razor sharp track featuring the raw and authentic storytelling that fans have come to expect. Focusing on the realist side of Southern Rap, EST Gee authentically documents day-to-day life in Louisville, Kentucky, incorporating trap and other contemporary variants of the genre over a sampled Playaz Circle classic. After developing a unique style on several self-released mixtapes, EST Gee released his debut studio album I Never Felt Nun in 2022 via Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG).
I Never Felt Nun featured a collection of tense street raps with occasional dips into melody provided by superstar guest collaborations including Future and Jack Harlow. The album reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and marked his 3rd Billboard Top 10 album. Gee’s string of successful releases dates back to 2021 with his acclaimed mixtape, Bigger Than Life Or Death which reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart, captured the No. 1 spot on Apple’s All-Genre chart and elevated his career to the next level. The Louisville native reached a new career milestone in Oct. 2022, when he shined during his first-ever, nationally-televised performance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards alongside Jeezy. He also delivered on his collaborations, cracking the Billboard Hot 100 with fiery verses on Future’s “CHICKENS” and Lil Baby’s “Back and Forth.” Gee has cemented himself as one of the top rising artists in the game and, as we like to call him, “your favorite rapper’s, favorite rapper.”
