Juice Wrld Releases Posthumous Album The Party Never Ends
Juice WRLD fifth and final album The Party Never Ends was announced at the Complexcon listening party in Las Vegas, Neveda. The album was teased at an exclusive listening party hosted by Grade A Productions, Interscope Records, and Fortnite. The event comes after the release of the leading single “All Girls Are the Same (2)” featuring Nicki Minaj.
Juice WRLD whose real name is Jarad Anthony Higgins was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 2, 1998. During his sophomore year of high school he began posting his songs on Soundclound. In 2017 Juice WRLD released his debut EP 9 9 9 , which featured his breakout song “Lucid Dreams”. By 2017 Higgins had gained the attention from artist like Waka Flacka and Southside. During that same year Juice WRLD signed with Lil Bibby’s label Grade A Productions.
On December 8, 2019 Juice WRLD took a private flight from Van Nuys Airport in California to Midway International in Chicago. Upon arrival law enforcement officials were waiting after being tipped off about drugs on board. Higgins management team alerted officers that he had consumed several unknown pills. After suffering a convulsion, seizure, and two doses of naloxone he was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
After his untimely passing his first posthumous album Legends Never Die was released on July 10. The album included twenty one songs and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. He also had five songs reach the top ten of the Hot 100. This accomplishment made Juice WRLD the third artist to accomplish this feat. In 2020, Higgins became the fourth most streamed artit on Spotify with over 5.9 billion streams.

In 2021 Juice WRLD’s estate announced the release of his second posthumous album Fighting Demons and a documentary Juice Wrld: Into the Abyss. The documentary served as point to highlight what Higgins dealt with. It highlighted his struggles with mental health and substance abuse through archival footage alongside interviews. In 2022 a deluxe version of Fighting Demons was released and on February 2023 Higgins estate announced his fifth and final posthumous album.
The invite only event attracted an array of talent, music executives, and influencers. Fortnite highlights Juice legacy by honoring him in starting on November 21 in the chapter two remix. In a press release Juice mother states “Jarad always loved to play Fortnite – it was more than just a game to him it was a way to connect with others”. Making this collaboration all the more personal for Juice Wrld’s fans. Grade A Productions will celebrarte Juice’s legacy at the Chicago’s United Center on November 30 with the fourth and final Juice WRLD Day.
