Amerie is back in the studio, and fans couldn’t be more excited. On Friday, Nov. 8, she and renowned producer Troy Taylor shared a joint Instagram post showing them jamming to an unreleased track titled “Undeniable.” Amerie revealed they already have at least 27 concepts ready but emphasized that “Undeniable” is the first official song they’ve completed together.

“This record is called ‘Undeniable,’ and it’s just the very beginning,”

Amerie told fans in the video, rewinding the track to give them a sneak peek. She explained that creating the song was fast, with her and Taylor already working through many ideas.

“Troy has so much great music just for me,” she added.

Taylor, who’s known for his work with artists like Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Queen Naija, and Tink, shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration, noting that he is focused on keeping Amerie’s sound “current” while staying true to her unique style.

“I’m a huge Amerie fan,” Taylor said. “She doesn’t need to change anything – just sound like Amerie.”

On Nov. 9, they were back in the studio, layering vocals to perfect the song. Amerie shared on Instagram,

“Working with legends like @troytaylorttu makes it a joy.” Taylor praised her dedication, saying she’s “invested in every note, tone, and expression.”

While it’s unclear when “Undeniable” will officially drop, Amerie hinted at a full album release in 2025. This would be her first full-length project since In Love & War (2009). Fans have seen Amerie occasionally performing at festivals, like Roots Picnic, but she’s mostly stayed out of the spotlight, focusing on projects like her debut picture book, You Will Do Great Things, and her online book club.

Troy Taylor’s recent work includes songwriting and production on Chris Brown’s 11:11 (Deluxe), which earned three Grammy nominations in 2025, including Best R&B Album. Taylor co-produced hits on the album, including “Angel Numbers/Ten Toes,” which has racked up millions of views and streams.

For now, fans can enjoy Amerie and Taylor’s studio posts and look forward to what’s shaping up to be an exciting musical comeback for Amerie in 2025.
