Leo Waters: A Rising Star in R&B

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Leo Waters is taking the world by storm and is predicted to be on of top new talents of 2025. Waters began his journey at just 15 years old when he left home to pursue a career in professional dance. Despite being ten years younger than his counterparts, he has made serious strides in the industry. Leo has performed alongside artists like DaBaby, Coi Leray, and Billie Eilish, to name a few.

After realizing that dance would be his in to the industry Waters got to work. He began songwriting, singing, and producing his own music while on tour. After a few failed attempts at music Leo was ready to call it quits. However, an unplanned trip to Los Angeles in 2023 changed his life forever. There, Leo connected with Donn Robb, who immediately took him under his wing. Over the summer, the pair developed several projects and released them on Tik Tok. When Donn noticed the organic traction Waters gained from Tik Tok users, the two formalized their relationship. Waters became the first executive production project on Robb’s newly formed Groove Garden artist incubator.

Leo’s first EP, On Waters Ave , was released independently in June 2024. The project was produced by 2PHONENOAH, Dale Chef, David Martin Frank, Donn Robb, Eli Beat, Hoops, Jai Beats, Lasik, Mason Sacks, Nabeyin, Noah Kobi and T.Y. The EP featured six tracks, with the standout song “Smoke + Mirrors” which garnished over 10million streams on Spotify. Across all platforms the EP garnished nearly 20 million streams.

Since its release Waters has been co-signs by top industry creatives, including Future, Ty Dolls $ign, and more. He is now gearing up to launch his second EP, Where Are We Now? , slated for early 2025. Leo Waters is firmly positioning himself as an emerging artist to watch in the R&B scene.
