Rising star JayDon, formerly JD McCrary, is ready to take the R&B scene by storm with his debut single, Ah! Ah!” featuring rapper 310babii, released today via mega/gamma. Known for his voice work as Simba in Disney’s 2019 The Lion King and his role as Kenny Payne in Tyler Perry’s The Paynes, the 18-year-old multitalented artist is stepping into the spotlight as a solo performer.

JayDon’s debut single, “Ah! Ah!” is a catchy, love-struck anthem that showcases his smooth vocals over lush, atmospheric synths. With lyrics like “I already know you want more, so let me cuff it / Rollin’ ‘round on the west side / Showin’ you off baby too fly,” JayDon takes listeners on a romantic journey, making his intentions clear. LA native 310babii joins in with a West Coast flair, adding a playful verse about a girl who caught his eye on Instagram.

In the “Ah! Ah!” music video, JayDon embraces classic LA vibes, taking his date for a sunset cruise in a vintage Mustang convertible. Later, he links up with 310babii, showing off his dance skills and proving his versatility as a singer and dancer.

With a career that started at just 10 years old as the youngest solo male artist signed to Disney/Hollywood Records, JayDon has captivated audiences with his talent. From unforgettable performances on NBC’s Little Big Shots to collaborations with Childish Gambino on Awaken, My Love!, which they performed at the 2018 Grammys, he has shown he’s a natural performer. His cover of The Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” and his debut EP, Shine, solidified his place in pop and R&B.

Influenced by legends like Usher, Chris Brown, and Bobby Brown, JayDon brings classic R&B vibes with a fresh, modern edge. “Ah! Ah!” marks the beginning of his journey as a solo R&B artist, and fans can expect much more music soon.
