Cardi B and Stars Share Their Thoughts on Trump’s 2024 Presidential Win
Today, Donald Trump announced his victory in the 2024 U.S. Presidential election during a watch party in Florida, following calls from major news outlets like the Associated Press. He addressed his supporters, stating, “Every citizen, I will fight for you, for your family and your future. We have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly… We’re going to fix our borders. We’re going to fix everything about our country.”
The election results have sparked significant reactions on social media. Cardi B, for instance, expressed her thoughts on X as Trump’s lead expanded, simply stating, “We need a Hail Mary.” She later shared a selfie on Instagram with the caption, “I hate y’all bad.” Just days earlier, she had spoken at a rally for Kamala Harris in Milwaukee and defended the Vice President against negative comparisons to the “Hawk Tuah” girl.
Cardi B, according to HotNewHipHop, is not the only celebrity weighing in on Trump’s victory. 50 Cent also shared his thoughts on Instagram this morning, offering a contrasting perspective to Cardi’s. “I don’t care how the fight goes, I’m leaving with the winner sh*t,” he captioned some photos of him and Trump. “I still don’t know what’s going on 🤦congratulations! @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.” Additionally, Lil Pump, a long-time supporter of Trump, is trending on X for his comments.
“God bless Donald Trump. Gas is gonna be cheaper. Taxes are gonna be lower and life is gonna be great,” he tweeted. In several other posts, he criticized celebrities who endorsed Harris, including Taylor Swift and Eminem, declaring, “This is the best day of my life.”
