Tyler, The Creator has sparked controversy among Taylor Swift fans, known as Swifties, following the massive success of his latest album, CHROMAKOPIA. In a viral clip shared Friday (Nov. 1), Tyler appeared unfazed by the backlash from Swifties, who have reportedly resurfaced some of his old lyrics online.

“I got Swifties all mad at me with their racist a**,” Tyler remarked during a recent concert. “B**ch, go listen to ‘Tron Cat.’ I don’t give a f**k, h**. They gon’ bring out the old me.”

The song “Tron Cat” from Tyler’s 2011 Goblin album has long been one of his most polarizing tracks, known for its shock-value lyrics that reference taboo topics. Swifties’ criticism of Tyler intensified after he dethroned Taylor Swift on Spotify’s Top Artists Global chart, holding the No. 1 spot from Oct. 28 to Oct. 30—his first-ever time reaching the top of that chart.

CHROMAKOPIA, which released on Oct. 28, features collaborations with high-profile artists like Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Lil Wayne, ScHoolboy Q, and Childish Gambino, spread across a tight 14-song lineup. Tyler has shared that the album is inspired by life lessons from his childhood.

“The album kinda just turned into me taking a bunch of s**t [that] my mom told me as a kid. Now that I’m 33, all that stuff is like, ‘Oh, that’s what the f**k she was talking about,’” he explained.

Amid the album’s success, Tyler recently announced additional dates for his “CHROMAKOPIA: THE WORLD TOUR.” He’ll be joined by Lil Yachty and the Texas Paris rap duo, with the tour kicking off on Feb. 4, 2025, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
