Drake and Future End Feud, Reignite Possibilities for New Music Collab
Drake and longtime collaborator Future maybe back on good terms according to Hip Hop journalist Elliott Wilson.
In a surprise update to their public rift, Drake and Future have reportedly settled their differences after a private phone conversation. Hip-hop journalist Elliott Wilson disclosed on The Bigger Picture podcast that the two “What a Time to Be Alive” artists recently reconciled, potentially setting the stage for future collaborations.

Wilson hinted that Young Thug’s social media intervention may have influenced their decision to make peace. Just before his recent release from jail, Young Thug posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas. Music ain’t the same without us collabin.”
Future even reposted the message, which Wilson said helped shift the energy toward reconciliation.
However, despite his inclusion in Thug’s tweet, Metro Boomin hasn’t been part of the talks, with Wilson joking that “there’s no trust there still with Metro.” This distance follows Metro and Future’s We Don’t Trust You album, which launched subtle jabs at Drake earlier this year, intensifying the tension between the two stars.
Their fallout initially surfaced after Drake and 21 Savage released Her Loss, sparking rumors that Future felt sidelined. N.O.R.E. even mentioned on The Breakfast Club that Future may have felt the Drake-21 collab undermined their previous joint projects.
Now, with Drake and Future reportedly back on friendly terms, fans are eager to see if their newfound harmony will lead to another musical partnership. For now, it looks like Metro Boomin might stay on the sidelines, but a new Drake and Future reunion may be closer than ever.
