Ray J has opened up about his recent heated confrontation with Diddy’s three sons, Justin, Christian, and Quincy, during a chat with Nicki Minaj on Instagram Live. The incident reportedly unfolded at influencer Tara Electra’s Unruly Agency Halloween party in Los Angeles over the weekend, where Diddy’s sons confronted Ray J over comments he made on his web series, The Reality Check with Ray J.

Nicki Minaj, asking Ray J if he had been “fighting in the club,” prompted him to clarify: “No, we didn’t have a fight. We had a big argument outside the club… I think I got loud and aggressive, but it was the third time this happened, so I felt I needed to stand up for myself.” Ray J shared that he initially tried to avoid the issue but ultimately found himself caught in a heated exchange.

However, he later revealed that he and the Combs brothers resolved their differences with a lengthy phone call. “What’s dope is that we all got on the phone and we talked for about 35 minutes,” he said, noting that the confrontation stemmed from previous comments he made about their father.

Reflecting on another run-in with the siblings, Ray J shared, “They tried to fight me before in a hotel. Justin said, ‘Let’s take a fade. I don’t like what you’re talking about with my pops.’” Despite these tensions, he expressed regret that violence had become part of the story.

TMZ had previously reported that the confrontation was diffused by Chris Brown, who intervened to prevent it from escalating. Ray J later confirmed the incident on Clubhouse, telling Wack 100 he intended to distance himself from Diddy after seeing video footage of him assaulting Cassie in 2016.

In a previous interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, Ray J had expressed his disappointment, calling the behavior “unforgivable” and stating, “There’s no room for that in this world we’ve been working hard to get to.”
