Metro Boomin Faces Sexual Assault Allegations in New Lawsuit
Uh-oh, another one bites the dust. Metro is under fire in new SA lawsuit.
Grammy-winning producer Metro Boomin (Leland Wayne) is facing serious allegations in a new lawsuit claiming he sexually assaulted a woman named Vanessa LeMaistre in 2016. LeMaistre, who is seeking unspecified damages, accuses Metro of assaulting her in a Los Angeles studio, with claims the incident led to her pregnancy.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, LeMaistre says she connected with Metro at a time of personal loss after her nine-month-old son passed away. In September 2016, she alleges Metro invited her to his studio, where she later passed out after combining Xanax and alcohol. She claims she woke up to find herself in a Beverly Hills hotel, with Metro allegedly assaulting her. LeMaistre states that she had an abortion two months later.
The lawsuit also references lyrics in Metro’s 2017 song “Rap Saved Me” with 21 Savage and Offset, suggesting the track includes a veiled reference to the incident. However, Metro Boomin’s attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II, has dismissed the claims, labeling them a “pure shakedown” and stating that Metro refused to settle with LeMaistre months ago. Metro also plans to countersue for malicious prosecution.
This lawsuit follows a turbulent year for Metro, who was previously involved in a separate scandal when Drake suggested his longtime girlfriend had been unfaithful, an allegation Metro denied. As the legal battle unfolds, fans await further developments in a case that has rocked the music industry.
