DaBaby reflects on his hit collaborations with Houston rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, in a recent Drink Champs interview. The pair made their first debut on Megans commercial mixtape, Fever, with their song ‘Cash Sh*t in May of 2019. Since then the two became an undeniable force as they collaborated on several songs afterwards.

However, during the infamous trial between Megan and Canadian rapper, Tory Lanez, the pair lost their footing. DaBaby a long time friend of Megan teamed up with Lanez for a song titled ‘SKAT’ just a year after the shooting. Just days after the song released it appeared that DaBaby had retweeted a post making light of Megan’s situation. The Ohio based rapper pointed out that the repost was not intentional but fans had already caught it.

Following the X (formerly Twitter) disagreement DaBaby went on in July of 2021 to bring Lanez out to his Rolling Loud set. In 2022 the ‘Suge’ rapper kept the feud going in his song ‘Boogeyman‘ where he threw shots at Pardi. He also claimed to have slept with Megan the night before her shooting.

“Waited to say that s–t on my next album/ Hit it the day before too/ But I kept it player,”

In the interview DaBaby was playing a game of this or that and was asked ‘Glorilla or Megan Thee Stallion’. The rapper then took that time to give Megan her followers stating “I got love for Meg. We did some dope sh*t together. It’s good to see her rise amongst the obstacles’. DaBaby goes on to say he is manifesting a collaboration between Glorilla, Megan Thee Stallion, and himself. Megan Thee Stallion and Glorilla have been able to build a solid business relationship with their tour.

DaBaby states that he believes “that’s the way me and Megan should pop back out.’ The ‘Ball If I Want To’ rapper claims that none of the male rappers collaborating with the Houston rapper is up to par. DaBaby goes on to say “Come home baby..you ain’t got to be making all that lame sh*t” further pushing his narrative of feeling the best. The ‘Suge’ rapper does mention that the Houston rapper can either be on board with the idea or not. But it appears that DaBaby is open to fixing his relationship with Megan and opening doors for future collaborations.
