Cardi B Threatens Legal Action After Child Protective Services Show Up to Her Home

Cardi B is furious after a prank call led to Child Protective Services (CPS) showing up at her home, and she’s not taking it lightly. Appearing on Instagram Live from what seems to be a hospital bed, the rapper vented her frustration and vowed to take legal action. Cardi shared that she and her family are the only “colored people” in their neighborhood and warned of physical retaliation against the prankster, saying she would sue but might resort to something more direct.

Cardi has every right to be upset. CPS isn’t a joke and it’s disgusting for anyone to disrupt the lives of well taken care of and loved children, but you cannot sue CPS for doing a wellness check, nor can you sue or even get the information of the person who reported you.

She also plans to hire a private investigator to find out who’s behind the disturbing prank, threatening that if it’s a man, her ex-husband Offset would handle it, and if it’s a woman, Cardi and her sister Hennessy would take matters into their own hands. While expressing her outrage, Cardi made it clear that her children are well taken care of and don’t experience physical discipline, despite their sometimes challenging behavior.
