Sean “Diddy” Combs is now confronting a new wave of legal troubles, as multiple lawsuits have been filed against him, including a disturbing allegation of sexual assault involving a 13-year-old girl at a party following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).

On Sunday, attorney Tony Buzbee’s firm filed five lawsuits alleging sexual assault against Diddy, adding to the six similar lawsuits submitted just the week prior. In addition, two more suits were filed in state court in New York, according to reports by CNN.

A detailed examination by HipHopDX of the five federal lawsuits revealed a troubling pattern. All but one of the claims involves allegations that the plaintiffs consumed 1-2 drinks and subsequently became disoriented. The lawsuits imply that these drinks may have been spiked with GHB, commonly known as a “date rape drug,” which raises significant concerns regarding consent and the circumstances of the alleged incidents.

In response to the latest lawsuits, Diddy’s attorneys reiterated a prior statement dismissing the claims as attempts to garner publicity. They expressed confidence in their legal strategy and the judicial process, asserting that

“the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman.”

On the same day as the lawsuits were filed, Diddy also motioned in federal court regarding his ongoing criminal case. He requested to “prohibit[] further extrajudicial statements from prospective witnesses and their lawyers that substantially interfere with Mr. Combs’s right to a fair trial.”

The anonymous plaintiff, who alleges she was only 13 at the time of the incident, recounted how she was approached by a limo driver outside Radio City Music Hall while trying to gain entry to the VMAs. The driver reportedly told her she “fit what Diddy was looking for” and offered to take her to an afterparty.

Upon arriving at the event, she claims she consumed a drink and soon began to feel woozy and lightheaded, prompting her to seek a place to lie down. According to the lawsuit, Diddy and two other celebrities then entered the room. The complaint details a harrowing account, alleging that Diddy and the unnamed male celebrity sexually assaulted her while the female celebrity observed.

Among the earlier lawsuits filed by Buzbee’s firm was one from a John Doe, who claims he was 16 when he was allegedly sexually assaulted by Diddy during one of the star’s renowned White Parties in 1998.

As these allegations unfold, Diddy continues to face significant legal and public scrutiny. The outcomes of these lawsuits and the ongoing criminal case will be closely monitored, shedding light on the serious issues of consent, celebrity culture, and accountability in the entertainment industry.
