However, the suspension wasn’t due to the appearance of adult content but rather Adin Ross, who was permanently banned from Twitch in February 2023. According to Twitch’s guidelines, banned creators are not allowed to appear on streams on the platform, which led to Akademiks’ channel becoming unavailable.

Akademiks quickly clarified the situation on social media, stating: “Oh Btw… it was a 72 Hr Suspension on Twitch. Shouts to my Twitch partner manager. Ngl they did warn me over like 4 times in the past bout streaming with Adin. They def dont fw that n-gga lol. we on YT til then.” His Twitch channel now reads as “temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
