GloRilla Reveals She Wants to Use a Surrogate for Future Kids
The Memphis rapper previously mentioned the idea of getting her tubes tied on “PROCEDURE,” a track from her album GLORIOUS.
Memphis rap star GloRilla opened up about her plans for motherhood during an interview with Charlamagne Tha God on October 14. Instead of following the traditional path, the rapper expressed her desire to use a surrogate when the time comes to have children.
“I do want to have kids, but not my own kids. I want to do a surrogate,” GloRilla revealed. “I want them to have my DNA, but I don’t want to have it.”
The artist, known for her unapologetic style, explained that the idea of being pregnant doesn’t appeal to her due to the physical restrictions that come with it, saying,
“All my friends have kids, and they’re restricted a lot when they’re pregnant. I’m like, ‘Nah, I don’t want to go through that.’”
When Charlamagne pointed out that pregnancies only last nine months, she humorously replied, “That’s too long.”
GloRilla’s candid conversation also touched on her music, including her collaboration with Sexyy Red on “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME,” a track that samples Boosie Badazz’s hit “Wipe Me Down.” The song was featured on her debut album GLORIOUS, which also included hits like “HOLLON” and “TGIF,” with features from stars like Megan Thee Stallion, T-Pain, and Muni Long.
With a unique perspective on motherhood and a fast-rising career, GloRilla continues to make waves both in and out of the studio.
