Six New Accusers File Lawsuits Against Sean “Diddy” Combs Over Alleged Sexual Abuse and Assault
Another day, another lawsuit. Mo Money, Mo Problems for sure.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new legal action as six additional accusers have filed lawsuits against the music mogul, accusing him of rape, sexual abuse, and sexual assault. These civil lawsuits, filed in New York on Monday, include allegations ranging from incidents that occurred in 1995 to as recently as 2021.
The lawsuits, which were announced by Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee earlier this month, involve two Jane Does and four John Does, some of whom claim they were assaulted at infamous parties linked to Combs over the course of his three-decade career in the music industry.
Allegations of Rape, Abuse, and Assault
The lawsuits reveal shocking details of the alleged abuse. One accuser, a woman, claims she was raped by Combs at a Marriott hotel in Manhattan in 2004, when she was just 19. According to her, after being invited to an exclusive party by the music mogul, she was locked in a hotel room where Combs and other men allegedly assaulted her. The lawsuit claims that Combs forced the accuser to undress, molested, and raped her while she pleaded for him to stop.
Another lawsuit involves a male accuser who alleges that he was drugged and sexually assaulted at a 2021 party in New York. The man claims he became disoriented after consuming a drink at the event and was later assaulted by multiple men, including Combs. The accuser says he was sodomized by at least three men and remembers seeing Combs during the attack.
Lawsuits Detail Violent and Disturbing Incidents
In another lawsuit, a man claims he was sexually assaulted by Combs in a Macy’s stockroom in 2008. The John Doe, who was an advisor for a clothing brand competing with Combs’ Sean John line, alleges he was attacked after a confrontation with Combs and his bodyguards. The lawsuit alleges that Combs forcibly raped him while threatening his life.
Additional lawsuits highlight allegations from a 2006 party, where a security guard claims he was drugged and assaulted by Combs. The accuser said he began feeling ill after drinking at the party and was later pushed into a van by Combs, who then sexually assaulted him.
One of the most shocking lawsuits accuses Combs of raping a woman in 1995 during a promotional party for the Biggie Smalls music video “One More Chance.” The accuser alleges that Combs violently attacked her in a bathroom, striking her head against a wall and forcing himself on her.
A History of Allegations
These new accusations are part of a broader wave of lawsuits against the music mogul. Earlier this year, Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. He is currently being held in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits his criminal trial, scheduled to begin in May.
Combs has consistently denied all allegations, asserting that he has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone. His legal team has stated that the lawsuits are baseless and that the judicial process will clear his name.
The Legal Battle Continues
Attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the new accusers, has vowed to expose those who enabled Combs’ alleged behavior, promising that more shocking revelations may come to light as the legal process unfolds. Buzbee’s firm is representing over 120 alleged victims, accusing Combs of “violent sexual assault, rape, facilitated sex with controlled substances, dissemination of video recordings, and sexual abuse of minors.”
With multiple lawsuits filed and criminal charges pending, the legal drama surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to develop. As these cases make their way through the courts, both Combs’ supporters and critics await the outcome of what could be a landmark legal battle for both the music industry and the victims of alleged abuse.
