Cardi B Unfazed by Haters, Says She’s “Chosen” and Protected by Higher Power

Cardi B isn’t bothered by negativity, asserting her belief that she’s protected and chosen by a higher power. During an Instagram Live session from the studio on Wednesday night (October 9), the Bronx superstar addressed the “weird” energy she’s been feeling lately. She made it clear that anyone sending hate her way will face consequences.
“You gonna go through shit because you fucked with me,” Cardi said. “And it’s not ‘cause I’m a witch like y’all think – it’s ‘cause I’m anointed. I was picked by Jesus! I’m really one of God’s kids.”
She humorously pointed out that out of all the strippers in the world, God chose her to be famous, underscoring her belief in her divine protection and unique path to success.
In other news, Cardi is battling a lawsuit over unpaid rental fees for the mansion used in her “Like What” music video. The lawsuit claims Cardi and Offset rented the Beverly Hills property under false pretenses for $35,000, supposedly for a TikTok video. However, Cardi insists they paid $10,000 in cash for a full 24-hour rental and even covered overage fees.
Firing back at the allegations, Cardi took to X (formerly Twitter) to provide receipts, including text messages and a $4,500 transaction to the realtor. “They wanna finesse us,” she wrote. “IRON YOUR BEST SUIT BITCH I’ll see you in court!!!!”
