Nicki Minaj recently took to Stationhead to express frustration over her ex-boyfriend Safaree attending one of her shows during her Pink Friday 2 Tour in Miami. On Tuesday (October 8), the Young Money star voiced her discontent, accusing an unnamed individual of trying to “steal her joy” and disrupt her peace.

“When you’re at peace and when you’re happy, so many things will start coming to try to steal your joy and to steal your peace,” Nicki said. “Please don’t let it […] Y’all karma is about to be bad if you’ve been disrespecting Nicki and the Barbz.”

Though she didn’t name Safaree directly, her comments appeared to reference him crashing her concert, as she mentioned how someone could easily attend an event incognito without drawing attention to themselves.

“I ain’t filming myself and all this shit, doing fucking TikToks,”

she said, likely referring to Safaree’s vlog about her performance. Nicki also hinted that if her fans don’t intervene when situations like this arise, she may take a lengthy break from music, warning that her hiatus could be “next level.”

Safaree, however, appeared to hold no ill will, as he was seen in the crowd dancing and rapping along during Nicki’s performance. The Love & Hip Hop star addressed his attendance on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “I’m proud no cap… there is no malice in me… I’m proud.”

He further explained his excitement during the show, writing: “I was by the bar at the concert when ‘Roman’s Revenge’ came on, I dropped my drink, screamed, and ran back inside screaming my lungs out.” Safaree reassured fans that he meant no harm, saying, “I was soooo excited […] I’m sorry I’m not mad guys, sheesh. We all allowed to have fun.”

Despite the tension surrounding Safaree’s presence, the Miami stop of the Pink Friday 2 Tour made headlines for other reasons. During the show, Nicki shared an intimate moment on stage with her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, while performing her hit song “Super Freaky Girl.” The rapper brought Zoo on stage, sat him down on a bench, and danced suggestively in front of him, much to the excitement of the crowd.
