Mariah The Scientist Shares Frustration Over Failed Jail Visit to Young Thug on Their Anniversary

Mariah The Scientist recently opened up about her failed attempt to visit Young Thug on their three-year anniversary, as he remains incarcerated amid the YSL trial. Taking to social media, the R&B singer shared her frustration after driving 30 minutes to the facility, only to be told that the visitation system was down.

“Today is my three-year anniversary with Jeff,” Mariah explained. “I drove all the way to this jail, even stopped at Party City to tape up a little ‘Happy Anniversary’ sign, but when I arrived, they said, ‘The system is down.’ I’m devastated.”

Despite the setback, Mariah remains connected to Young Thug. During an episode of Angel Reese’s podcast Unapologetically Angel, Mariah received a phone call from him while chatting with Latto and the WNBA star. She also shared that she regularly attends his court hearings, saying, “I just go to breathe his air.”

Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, has been incarcerated since his 2022 arrest on RICO charges. His trial continues, with Mariah showing her unwavering support throughout.
