Fresh Hints Point to a New Kendrick Lamar Album
Kendrick Lamar fans are buzzing with excitement as new hints emerge about an upcoming album from the Compton rapper. TDE affiliate Devin Malik, known for his collaborations with artists like ScHoolboy Q and Isaiah Rashad, sparked speculation on Monday (October 7) by sharing a post on X (formerly Twitter) that read, “Mood cause new k dot album otwwww.” He accompanied the tweet with a video of himself enjoying Kendrick’s Pop Out concert in Inglewood over the summer.

Adding to the excitement, Terrace Martin, a longtime collaborator of Kendrick, has hinted at the imminent arrival of new music. During an Instagram Live session earlier this year, he expressed his enthusiasm for upcoming projects, stating,
“I’m excited for Roddy Ricch’s album and whenever Kendrick drops his album. Those two Compton artists have so much bubbling.”
Further evidence supporting the anticipation of a new Kendrick album includes his upcoming appearance as the headliner for the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans and reports of a potential arena tour in 2025. A recent Bloomberg report indicated that Coachella attempted to secure Kendrick and Rihanna as headliners for the 2025 festival, following challenges with ticket sales in recent years. However, Kendrick reportedly declined the offer to prioritize his Super Bowl performance and subsequent stadium tour.
Kendrick’s last tour, supporting his 2022 album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, was a monumental success. Known as The Big Steppers Tour, it achieved record-breaking earnings, becoming the highest-grossing tour by a rapper in history, amassing $110.9 million from 929,000 tickets over 73 shows.
If Kendrick Lamar releases a new album in 2024, it would mark a significant moment in his career, showcasing his most prolific streak since signing a major label deal in 2012. With the music industry keenly watching, fans can only wait in eager anticipation for what K. Dot has in store.
