Rising R&B sensation Honey Bxby has just unveiled her latest single, “Left Eye,” from her highly anticipated EP, set to drop early next year.

“Left Eye” is a fierce track about a woman pushed to her breaking point after being hurt by her lover too many times. In the song, Honey Bxby vividly expresses her rage, detailing plans for revenge, from crashing her boyfriend’s car to setting his house on fire. The track samples the hip-hop classic “Quiet Storm” by Mobb Deep featuring Lil Kim and serves as a tribute to Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes from TLC, who famously set her then-boyfriend Andre Rison’s mansion ablaze in 1994.

Produced by GRAMMY-nominated Worldwide Fresh—who has worked with industry giants like Beyoncé, Usher, and Sabrina Carpenter—”Left Eye” is packed with raw emotion and powerful energy. Honey Bxby herself shared her thoughts on the track, saying,

“I was nervous when I first heard the Mobb Deep sample since my most popular song also samples a hip-hop legend. But the studio energy was amazing, and we created an undeniable R&B anthem about heartbreak.”

2024 has been quite the breakout year for Honey Bxby, back in March, she appeared on her first-ever digital cover for MusicXclusives alongside rising stars like Cleotrapa and Kenzo B solidifying her place in the musical landscape. The Asbury Park, NJ blonde bombshell is ready take over the world.
