Rich Homie Quan’s posthumous project Forever Going In is set to release on Friday, October 4, which would have been his 35th birthday. The rapper’s estate shared the news on social media, stating,

“Dropping at midnight! 34 listed songs. Ironically, that’s the age I [passed away]. Bonus: One extra [song] because tomorrow will forever be a celebration!”

The highly anticipated album will feature contributions from 2 Chainz, Lil Tjay, Skilla Baby, Sukihana, Plies, Quick Trip, Duoo, and VVS. The cover art, a throwback photo of Quan wearing a crown, includes the message, “I promise I will never stop going in,” a reference to his 2014 project I Will Never Stop Going In.

Although fans were introduced to Quan’s track “Song Cry” at his memorial service in College Park, Georgia, on September 17, the song will not be included on the album.

The release of Forever Going In comes just weeks after the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Quan’s cause of death as an accidental overdose. The rapper tragically passed away on September 5 due to a fatal mix of fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine, and THC.

Quan’s family shared a heartfelt message with People, stating,

“While he leaves us with an undeniable hole in our hearts, we are comforted by knowing his music and triumphant spirit lives on. Quan’s legacy will forever be cemented as a soundtrack to our lives.”

Forever Going In follows Quan’s 2022 project Family & Mula, which featured NoCap and was later updated with additional tracks like “Spin,” “Real Life,” and “Bigger Problems.”
