Mario Invites You Into His ‘Space’ In Brand New Single

GRAMMY-nominated R&B star Mario has officially released his brand-new single, “Space.”

Produced by James Fauntleroy, with whom Mario has been collaborating on a new project for over a year, the singer praises their shared love for creating timeless music. “James and I share a similar philosophy when it comes to the love of classic, enduring music,” Mario explains about working with the 4-time GRAMMY-winning songwriter and producer. “We draw inspiration from our stories, lives, and everything we observe and absorb.”

Inspired partly by the sounds of Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson, “Space” showcases Mario’s signature style that established him as one of R&B’s most influential voices. With its smooth tempo, enriched with horns and a touch of funk, Mario delivers a powerful vocal performance, inviting love to enter his ‘space.’

The new single’s release follows Mario’s surprise appearance on Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday Two Tour in Los Angeles, where he performed his classic #1 hit, “Let Me Love You.” The two artists previously collaborated on “Somebody Else,” which reached the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Top 40.

Fans can expect to see more of Mario as he prepares to join Mary J. Blige and Ne-Yo on the For My Fans Tour, which kicks off in January 2025. The tour will bring together three of R&B’s most successful artists for an unforgettable musical journey.
