If you haven’t hopped on Katy Perry’s love train yet, now’s your chance! The singer revealed an expanded version of her latest album, titled 143: I Love You More, on Monday night (Sept. 23). This deluxe digital edition adds bonus tracks “I Woke Up,” “No More Tears For New Years,” and “Gimme Gimme (Solo Version)” to the original 11-track album.

The solo version of “Gimme Gimme” features Perry without guest 21 Savage. “Good morning from Australia! I WOKE UP… with another surprise for you. 143: I Love You More – a DELUXE digital download of 143 is available NOW for my [American] and [Australian] KatyCats, but only for a limited time,” Perry shared on X, alongside a 20-second snippet of the upbeat track “I Woke Up.”

In this lively pop song, Perry celebrates the joy of living, singing, “I just open my eyes and sing every time / I woke up, got another day / I woke up, let’s celebrate / Throw your hands up in the sky / If you’re happy you’re alive.” The track expresses gratitude for simple pleasures like sunshine, puddle-jumping, and singing away the blues.

Over the weekend, Perry performed at the second weekend of Rock in Rio in Brazil, where she teamed up with 1980s pop icon Cyndi Lauper for a powerful duet of Lauper’s 1985 hit “Time After Time.” This marked Perry’s third appearance at the festival, coming just days after the release of her follow-up to 2020’s Smile. In a statement, Perry described the album as “a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop project with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,” referring to the text code for “I love you.”
