Usher Confirms Twitter Hack After Mysterious Disappearance of All His Tweets
Usher is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a Twitter hack. Over the weekend, fans noticed that the “Yeah!” singer’s profile seemed to be wiped clean, but on Sunday (September 22), Usher clarified that his account had been compromised.
“[My] account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it!” he tweeted. “See you tonight at Intuit Dome.” It’s worth noting that over 7,000 of the R&B star’s tweets vanished on Saturday (September 21), and only around 6,800 have been restored so far.

Twitter hacks have been a growing concern recently, with artists like Latto, Doja Cat, and Flo Milli experiencing similar breaches in July and May, respectively.
Usher is set to return to Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome for performances on Tuesday (September 24) and Wednesday (September 25), marking his fourth consecutive show at the venue. Afterward, his “PAST PRESENT FUTURE TOUR” will continue with stops in cities like Oakland, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, and Charlotte.
The tour follows his Super Bowl LVIII halftime show and a successful 100-date residency in Las Vegas. Alongside performing his classic hits, Usher is treating fans to live renditions from his latest album, COMING HOME, featuring tracks like “Good Good” with 21 Savage and Summer Walker, “A-Town Girl” featuring Latto, and “Kissing Strangers.”
As previously reported by Rap-Up, Usher is also collaborating with Coke Studios for an upcoming project. “Being part of this year’s Coke Studio lineup is both an honor and an opportunity to engage with my fans through the power of music,” he shared. “Partnering with Coca-Cola to bring these experiences to life is exciting, and I can’t wait for fans to join us in the magic we’re crafting together.”
