Nicki Minaj Ditches Deluxe Album for Epic ‘Pink Friday 3’!

Nicki Minaj has revealed that she will not be releasing a deluxe edition of Pink Friday 2 as initially planned, but instead, she is set to drop an entirely new album for her fans.

This announcement, via X, comes as she concludes the second leg of her U.S. Pink Friday 2 Tour. Despite facing some controversies, including late concert starts and claims of subpar performances, she continues to attract large audiences with upcoming shows in San Antonio, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, and her native Queens, NY.

Initially, she intended to launch the Gag City Reloaded deluxe edition of Pink Friday 2 on September 13, having teased it for weeks with snippets and performances of unreleased tracks during her tour. A cover was even revealed, along with other promotional materials. However, Nicki has shared her reasons for this last-minute change of plans. She also mentioned that this phase of her career has been incredibly rewarding for her for various reasons.

The Barbz have expressed their latest dissatisfaction with Nicki Minaj. Recently, she faced demands for refunds from concertgoers frustrated by late starts, alleged lip-syncing, and the omission of certain songs from her setlist. While some of these refund requests may seem unreasonable, Nicki responded by emphasizing her commitment to providing a unique experience at each tour stop. Although fans likely won’t receive their money back, they will be rewarded in another way.
