Lil’ Wayne Announces Weezyana Fest Lineup With Hot Boyz and Rob49

Lil’ Wayne announced that he will be doing Weezyana Fest in New Orleans this year with special guests Rob49 and Hot Boyz! He left the fans thrilled as he revealed the line up and he will be reuniting with Hot Boyz, Juvenile, Turk, and B.G., at the Smoothie King Center on November 2. Other acts are including Mannie Fresh as he will be a guest DJ for the festival. In the next coming weeks, we should see who will be the surprising acts as there is a short bill.

“Lil Wayne embodies the spirit of New Orleans, and Lil Weezyana Fest is a stellar showcase of the city’s dynamic and flourishing music scene,” Live Nation Urban’s Brandon Pankey said, per Variety. “Live Nation Urban celebrates this amazing event and is proud to continue to partner and cultivate the growth of this festival for years to come.”

Lil’ Wayne had recently did an interviewing teasing his fans that there will be a Hot Boyz reunion that is coming soon. “I think we spoke about it a few times, but you know they have situations — like B.G. just coming home. So, he gotta work it out: Can he tour? Can he travel? You know what I mean, things like that,” the FWA creator said. “You know [Juvenile is] ready and Turk [is] ready, but we really gotta see if Geezy can move around and all that.”

This will be great for the New Orleans and hip-hop culture as it needs something positive for the industry!
