YG Appears to Accuse Saweetie of Cheating After Heated Argument

YG seems to have hinted at possible infidelity from Saweetie after a recent argument between the two, which led to the police being called. In a now-deleted Instagram Story on Tuesday (August 13), YG posted emojis of a lion and a cheetah, seemingly suggesting that Saweetie had been lying and cheating.

The cryptic post sparked reactions from fans, with many interpreting it as YG calling out Saweetie. Comments ranged from “Lion ahh cheetah… okay got it” to jokes about the subtlety of using jungle cat emojis. Neither YG nor Saweetie has addressed the speculation.

This comes just days after news broke of a heated argument between the couple at their Los Angeles home on Saturday (August 11). The disagreement reportedly stemmed from “cell phone drama” and escalated to the point where police were called. However, no physical altercation occurred, and after officers ensured both had calmed down, they were left alone with a noncriminal report filed as part of standard procedure.

The pair has been in an on-and-off relationship since April 2023. During this time, Saweetie has also found herself in the midst of the ongoing feud between her ex, Quavo, and Chris Brown. Brown recently claimed in his diss track “Weakest Link” that he had been involved with Saweetie while she was still with Quavo, further fueling rumors of infidelity.

Quavo had previously hinted at Saweetie cheating on him in his 2022 track “Messy,” though he didn’t explicitly name anyone involved. Fans speculated about various possibilities, including rumors that Saweetie had a fling with Lil Baby in 2021.
