Future and Metro Boomin are on the road, looking to heat up the end of the summer! Both have been enjoying a successful stride with their collab albums. Live Nation announced the We Trust You tour on April 16th and it kicked off in Kansas City, Missouri at the T-Mobile Center on July 30th. There have been no openers or supporting acts announced yet. Missouri is Metro Boomin’s home town, what a great way to start the tour off! Their North-American tour will be making stops in various cities like Detroit, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, etc. This tour will be 27 days, wrapping up in Vancouver, B.C., at Rogers Arena.

Speeding off to tour, Future and Metro debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 with 251,000 total album-equivalent units in the week ending March 28th. After Metro and Future dropped their first collaborative album, We Don’t Trust You, a frenzy started with the charged verse from Kendrick Lamar on the song, “Like That.” Lamar targeted Drake and J.Cole which sent social media into shambles. Kendrick let it be known with the aggression in his verse, “Yeah, get up with me, f*ck sneak dissing/ First Person Shooter, I hope they came with three switches.” “First Person Shooter” was a collaboration song with Drake and J Cole released priorly. Due to Kendrick’s explosive verse, “Like That” landed Metro and Future No.1 on the Hot 100 and was the first rap song to spend its first three weeks at the summit since Drake’s “Nice For What.” After learning his song got him to No.1, Metro shared on his Instagram page “HIP HOP IS ALIVE AND WELL #WEDONTTRUSTYOU” However, Future and Metro haven’t stopped there. Shortly after, they spent the block for another round by unleashing their second collaborative album, We Still Don’t Trust You. The Atlanta duo continue to keep their winning streak alive on April 12th in which the album has two discs divided into 25 new tracks in total. There are guest appearances made by J.Cole, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, etc. Both albums have been very successful for the talented duo which is now being led with a trending tour!
