Diddy’s Mother Janice Combs Reportedly Hospitalized in Florida With Chest Pain

Janice Combs, the mother of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has reportedly been hospitalized.

TMZ reports that Janice was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after experiencing chest pains. She is expected to remain hospitalized for at least another day as she undergoes tests. Diddy has been by her side at the South Florida hospital.

Complex has reached out to Diddy’s representatives for comment.

Sources cited by TMZ suggest that the chest pains may be partly due to stress related to Diddy’s increasing legal issues. Recently, NBC News reported that the Bad Boy Records founder is under federal investigation. Additionally, Diddy is reportedly trying to sell his Los Angeles mansion for $70 million.

Earlier this year, Diddy’s properties in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by federal authorities. The 54-year-old has been in the headlines due to multiple assault allegations, including a lawsuit from producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. In May, surveillance footage from 2016 was released showing Diddy physically assaulting Cassie, with whom he had previously settled a lawsuit.

Diddy issued a video statement taking “full responsibility for my actions” in the Cassie video, but later removed the video from his Instagram during a full account wipe.
