Get an Inside Look at Billboard’s Women in Music 2024

The 2024 Billboard Women in Music event was a star-studded affair that lit up the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California, on Wednesday night (March 6). With an array of today’s leading female artists, the evening was a celebration of empowerment and camaraderie.

Guiding the festivities was the charismatic Tracee Ellis Ross, who kept the energy high throughout the event. Among the highlights were the electrifying performances by some of the industry’s brightest talents, each recognized for their unique contributions.

Karol G was honored as Woman of the Year, while Charli XCX received the Powerhouse award. Maren Morris was celebrated as a Visionary, and NewJeans took home the Group of the Year title, presented by Coke Studio. Other notable honorees included Tems for Breakthrough, Victoria Monét for Rising Star (presented by Honda), Young Miko for Impact (presented by American Express), and Luísa Sonza as Global Force.

The event also paid tribute to non-performing honorees, including Ice Spice for Hitmaker, Kylie Minogue as an Icon, Michelle Jubelirer as Executive of the Year, PinkPantheress for Producer of the Year (presented by Bose), Sarah Geronimo as a Global Force, and Annalisa also recognized as a Global Force.

In addition to the stellar lineup on stage, the event drew a constellation of stars in attendance. Katy Perry, Sofia Vergara, Andra Day, Sky Ferreira, Nelly Furtado, GloRilla, Ellie Goulding, JoJo, Coco Jones, Bebe Rexha, Saweetie, and Lainey Wilson were just a few of the luminaries gracing the event with their presence.
