Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake’s Brief VMAs Interaction Clarified
During the star-studded 2023 VMAs on Tuesday (Sept. 12), a lively conversation between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake caught the attention of viewers, sparking rumors and curiosity about the nature of their exchange.
Backstage, the “Savage” rapper was seen engaged in what initially appeared to be an intense conversation with Timberlake, known for his past performances with NSYNC at the award show. The footage showed Megan passionately gesturing and responding to something Timberlake said. However, insiders quickly clarified that it was a friendly first-time meeting between the two stars.
According to sources, Timberlake greeted Megan with a friendly “It’s so nice to meet you,” to which she responded, “No, no, this doesn’t count. We gotta meet proper.” There was no altercation, and the exchange was described as “very cute.”
Megan herself addressed the situation with a playful TikTok video featuring her and Timberlake smiling together, along with the caption, “I just talk with my hands. See ya next time, Justin Timberlake.”
On the VMAs stage, Megan teamed up with Cardi B for a performance of their new single, “Bongos,” marking her first release of 2023. This followed a brief hiatus after the release of her second studio album, “Traumazine,” last year. The album featured collaborations with artists like Future, Dua Lipa, Latto, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, and Key Glock, with tracks like “Ungrateful,” “Plan B,” and “Sweetest Pie” standing out.
