Nelly and Ashanti Rekindle Their Romance

Nelly recently confirmed that he and Ashanti are back together and dating once again. The rapper revealed this news during an appearance on Boss Moves With Rasheeda, where he spoke openly about their renewed relationship.

“Yeah, we cool again,” Nelly admitted with a wide smile. “I think it surprised both of us. It wasn’t anything that I don’t think planned. I think we were both doing pretty much what we do. Sometimes being separate you understand one another more.”

“You could be like maybe let me see exactly what they say. You know we could all be defensive in our relationships. We know we wrong but we gonna stand on it. We all a victim to that.

When asked if the relationship feels good now, Nelly replied, “It’s no pressure. Before, I felt both of us doing what we doing career wise and you got so many people in the middle of it, it could be tough.”

Nelly and Ashanti had an on-and-off relationship for over a decade since they first got together in 2003, and rumors of their reconciliation have been circulating for years.

Throughout 2023, the couple has been seen spending time together, including taking the stage in Las Vegas for steamy performances of their 2008 collaboration “Body On Me” and attending social events like the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight in April.

Their relationship status sparked gossip once again in February when they were spotted wearing what appeared to be matching iced-out Cuban link chains in a photo shared on social media.

Even Bow Wow weighed in on their connection, encouraging Nelly to take the next step. He commented on Instagram, saying, “Yo mo! I know we’re not seeing eye-to-eye either, but from little bro to big bro, STOP PLAYING AND MARRY THIS WOMAN, BRO! You’re like 50 [laughing face emoji]. Sit your old ass down [laughing face emojis]. This your queen.”
