Cardi B’s Thrown Microphone Being Auctioned Off For Charity

Cardi B recently garnered attention for her reaction to a fan at an outdoor daytime party in Las Vegas last week, when a fan threw water on her while performing “Bodak Yellow.”

In response, Cardi threw her microphone at the offender, and now that same microphone has been put up for auction. All the proceeds are set to go to a few charities of the audio production company’s owner, Scott Fisher, with the starting bid of $500 on eBay.

It has since grown to over $90,000, and the female rapper is now being investigated for battery due to this incident. Footage even shows that Cardi actually didn’t aim it correctly, hitting an innocent fan in the crowd, who recently wrote on TikTok.

Amidst of all the bad press, Cardi B has still managed to use this situation as a positive, and continues to promote her recent collaboration with husband, Offset, “JEALOUSY.”
