TiaCorine has just released a new remix of her breakout track, “FreakyT” featuring Latto. The song immediately stuck out as a fan favorite after appearing on her full-length debut album, I Can’t Wait last year, inspiring a viral dance trend with #tiacorine and #freakyt amassing a combined 60 million views on TikTok, leading the song to its current position at #16 on the Urban Mainstream Chart & #22 on Billboard’s Mainstream Hip-Hop/R&B Chart with over 50 million streams. Last weekend, Tia and Latto previewed their new collab ahead of it’s release and linked up with Saweetie and Lola Brooke backstage afterwards for a viral photoshoot, documenting the next generation of Hip-Hop superstars.
Tia’s already had a career-minting 2023, kicking things off by being named an ‘Artist To Watch‘ by Rolling Stone, COMPLEX, Pigeons & Planes, Zane Lowe, PopSugar, OkayPlayer, Our Generation Music, and One37PM while having her track co-signed by Drake, Flo Milli, the late-great Gangsta Boo and more. Having recently been lighting stages on fire as direct support for Key Glock’s multi-city ‘Glockoma’ Tour, TiaCorine is finally giving her fans what they’ve been eagerly waiting for with the remix for “FreakyT.”
Fresh off the release of her critically acclaimed debut album I Can’t Wait last year, TiaCorine is continuing her fiery momentum into 2023 with the release of her “FreakyT” remix featuring Latto. Tia gave the world a glimpse into her wide-ranging musical influences like Nicki Minaj, Luther Vandross & Paramore with the release of her critically-acclaimed debut EP, 34Corine which included tracks like “Mine”, “30”, & “Avril Lavigne”, a punchy homage to the pop-punk icon of her teenage years. The EP garnered cosigns from a diverse array of artists like SZA, A$AP Rocky, and Rico Nasty as well as critical praise from NME, PAPER, and DJBooth in which Tia was quoted as saying, “When people listen to my music, I want them to escape their reality and come right into Tia’s world. I want people to feel like they are on drugs without even taking drugs.”
After seeing the success of the EP, Tia put together a deluxe edition of the project, The Saga of 34Corine, which featured superstar DaBaby on “Lotto – Part 2” and production from Bankroll Got It as well as Kenny Beats. Tia went on to perform at major festivals including Rolling Loud Miami, Day N Vegas, and Rolling Loud NYC. In April of last year, she released “Gas Station”, a lyrically immersive track that received critical praise from Billboard, The FADER, Teen Vogue, Genius & Lyrical Lemonade.
