RAKIM SELLS OUT THE LEGENDARY SONY HALL!

One of most influential rap figures…ever, Rakim, brought his smooth bars and tricky word play to Sony Hall in New York City (for one night only). You had to be there! As a part of the, Iconn Live: ‘Vibe Concert Series’, Ja-Rule put together yet another special intimate performance as he continues to bring some of our favorite artists right back to where they first started. 

Funk Master Flex was on the set prior to Rakim touching the stage and definitely got the crowd excited. He efficiently scrolled through an extensive catalog of both old-school classics and new music. As the curtains pulled back and revealed the legendary MC himself, Rakim, he was greeted pleasantly by a sold out crowd (there was absolutely no standing room left as people came from near and far to support this legend). Rakim’s  performance featured the performance of ‘Paid In Full’ accompanied by a live band. Special Guests in attendance included: Mayor Eric Adams and Lil Cease.
