Fans anticipating Offset’s forthcoming album may have to wait just a little longer it seems. The LP, which was supposed to be the follow up to 2019’s FATHER OF 4, will now be postponed in the wake of his cousin Takeoff’s death. The former Migos member recently paid tribute to Takeoff after changing his Instagram default photo to one of his late bandmate after learning he was murdered in Houston, TX on November 1 during an accidental shooting gone wrong.

Offset, who has since went on to continue pursuing his solo career, while both Takeoff and Quavo remained a duo recent confirmed the news of pushing his album back, which was initially due on Friday, November 11. After a brief conversation in the DM with a fan, he shared,

“No pushed back”

Although Offset hasn’t spoken up publicly since the passing of Takeoff last week, we know he will be attending the funeral service tomorrow at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta and hope that he’s since reconciled his differences with Quavo with plans for a reunion soon.

Offset’s new album will feature the Baby Keem-produced “54321″ and “Code” featuring Moneybagg Yo, which was previously released. His wife, Cardi B also declared that the rumors surrounding Offset messing around with Quavo’s ex, Saweetie will be addressed on his forthcoming album. Quavo and Takeoff dropped their joint album, Only Built For Infinity Links last month and their “Messy” song sparked quite the controversy when Quavo alluded to Saweetie sleeping with Offset, although some suspected he could’ve been referring to fellow Quality Control labelmate, Lil Baby since it’s been rumored he took her on a $100k shopping spree last year.
