Afrobeats Star Davido Sadly Loses His 3-Year-Old Son “Ifeanyi”

Ifeanyi Adeleke, the first son of Afrobeats singer Davido and Chioma Rowland, has sadly passed on, according to the Lagos State Police Command. Following the sad passing away of Ifeanyi, the Command also confirmed that all members of Davido’s domestic staff are in police custody. 

On Tuesday, Lagos police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin made the announcement. The Lagos PPRO, speaking about the tragic incident, said preliminary investigations are underway to determine what caused the boy’s death. Benjamin said: “Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet. If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest.”

The Afrobeats star and his fiancee, Chioma, were reportedly away from the house when their son drowned in a pool at his father’s residence in Banana Island on Monday, October 31. The singer recently celebrated the third birthday of his son on October 20.
