Capping off a banner year with even more heat, St. Louis’s hottest new voice Big Boss Vette serves up a brand new single and video entitled “Pretty Girls Walk” today via Beatstaz/Amigo Records/Republic Records.

On the track, an off-kilter bass line thumps through quirky production as she unleashes a flurry of irresistible and instantly quotable bars. Meanwhile, the highly repeatable hook rings out, “All the pretty girls walk like this, this, this.” Posted up in a lavish mansion she does the walk for all to emulate in the music video. Once again, she struts to the forefront of the game on her own terms with no shortage of sass, swagger, and style.

Big Boss Vette continues turning heads and kickstarting conversation. She shined in the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher and starred in the 2022 Hip-Hop Awards edition of BET’s Rate the Bars. Other appearances include a freestyle for Back of the Class and an interview with The Morning Hustle. Her bossed-up single “My Sista” soundtracked a key moment of Hulu’s The D’Amelio Show. Meanwhile, she even went to prom in Episode 6 of the Big Boss Vette Show. Building her audience, she has attracted north of 1 million followers on TikTok.

It lands in the wake of Big Boss Vette’s “How TF” with Sleazyworld Go. Right out of the gate, HotNewHipHop praised, “Go’s laidback murmur of a verse is contrasted with an energetic Vette, who spits fast and mean throughout the rest of the song’s three minute runtime.”

Meanwhile, she proves unstoppable this year. She unleashed the Remix of her breakthrough banger “Snatched” [feat. Flo Milli & Saucy Santana]. Between the Remix and the Original, “Snatched” has reeled in 40 million total streams and counting. E! hailed it as “a powerhouse official remix,” and XXL named it one of the “13 Best New Hip-Hop Songs This Week.” UPROXX noted, “Big Boss Vette, Flo Milli, and Saucy Santana are beaming with confidence.”

It emerged as “the most added song” at Hip Hop radio, while the video impacted rotation on BET, Yo! MTV, and REVOLT. She also sat down with Republic Records TV for “Get To Know” and “Behind The Scenes” of her Instagram.

Big Boss Vette has undeniably made waves across the culture. By the time the song is over, you can’t help but believe her.” DJ Booth championed her among “10 Rappers You Should Know Right Now on Audiomack,” and Audiomack showcased “Eater” on the “GOOD GOOD” playlist as part of the platforms Women’s History Month celebration. The music video for “Eater” continues to light up regular rotation on BET Jams and BET Hip Hop. She has also appeared on What’s New in Da Lou?
