Hip-Hop’s bad boy Tory Lanez is currently on his press run for his newly released seventh studio album, Sorry 4 What. He stopped by the Breakfast Club to promote the new project while talking to both Angela Yee and DJ Envy, who asked him questions in regards to his alleged backstage altercation with August Alsina at a recent show earlier this month, which he declined to answer.

I don’t have a problem with anybody.

During the 42-minute long interview, he was also asked about whether he thinks fellow rapper DaBaby (who is projected to sell under 20k first week on his Baby on Baby 2 project) is blackballed, forgiving but never forgetting in a situation, does he feel that he’s an underrated artist, learning how to become a self-contained creative who writes, producers, directs, edits his own music and much more.

Towards the end of the sit-down, Tory went on to school new artists on how to remain independent and not signing a major deal based on their leverage once approached by the “system” and how to use that momentum you have to maintain your freedom.
