The Queen of Hip Hop Mary J. Blige is definitely in her executive bag these days. R&B is certainly not dead, as previously questioned by Diddy. In fact, it is revived by today’s hottest new quartet who go by the name WanMor, four blood brothers who are the sons of Wanya Morris of the legendary group Boyz II Men. The boys, who initially appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2019 is comprised of Wanya II is nicknamed “Big Boy,” Wanya III is called “Chulo,” Wanya IV is nicknamed “Tyvas” and Wanya V is “Rocco.”

They are signed to Blige’s Beautiful Life productions through a distribution deal with Kevin Liles’ 300 Entertainment and the boys are a breath of fresh air since we haven’t seen a boy band in some years since the likes of B2K, Mindless Behavior, etc. Their sound is very nostalgia of that early 2000s era that we all miss and loved. Now, with their brand new lead single, “Every Pretty Girl in the City,” which was produced by BBEARDED (founder of the RNBop era, ‘that’s a legendary young man’).

“There’s been so much conversation about the state of R&B and the next generation of R&B artists,” says Mary J. Blige. “This generation has been giving us great R&B, and that feeling, that soul, and that sound remains in our DNA. When we heard WanMor sing, we knew we could stop looking. They are IT! Supporting and cultivating true R&B talent is why I started Beautiful Life Productions, and I couldn’t be more proud to do this with these young men.”

With the success of artists like Megan thee Stallion, Trey Songz and Young Thug, music veteran Kevin Liles is no stranger to making a star, and WanMor is destined for success, bringing back real singing to music as well as R&B again.

“WanMor is what we have been missing in music. There’s no one out like them,” says Kevin Liles, chairman & CEO of 300 Entertainment and Elektra Music Group. “It all comes down to their voices, songs, and fans. WanMor is bringing the superstar R&B group back. R&B is not dead. At 300, we are excited to partner again with Mary J Blige and her Beautiful Life team.”
