Internet Money And Lucki Combine Efforts On “2k In Tha Sofa”
Taz Taylor and Internet Money are known for stacking plaques. Joining forces with an underground hero with a triumphantly woozy new single, Internet Money shares “2k In Tha Soda,” a collaboration with Lucki. A fixture on the Chicago scene for nearly a decade, Lucki made his name on insular anthems for faded late nights, and on “2k In Tha Soda,” IM producers Radiate, Synthetic, Perdu, ThxTrey. and Taz Taylor get on his unique wavelength. The song combines a recurring horn fanfare with seasick percussion, providing an ideal backdrop for Lucki to croak his free associative rhymes: “Said I was quitting, but I highly doubt it/I got 100’s, don’t need my flowers.” Premiered on The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music, “2k In Tha Soda” is the latest offering from We All We Got, Internet Money’s upcoming EP.
Spanning six tracks, the EP shines a spotlight on some of the most exciting rising rappers in the game, including Yeat, Lucki, Ken Carson, and Destroy Lonely, alongside brand new releases with frequent Internet Money collaborators Lil Tecca and Lil Yachty. We All We Got is home to “No Handoutz,” the Yeat-featuring banger that dropped earlier this year, and “She Want Some More,” a spritely and romantic single featuring Ken Carson and Lil Tecca. With production from Taz Taylor, Nick Mira, and Internet Money producers like Cxdy, Census, Rio Leyva, Hologram, and more, We All We Got EP arrives on August 19th via Internet Money Records/10K Projects.
