Rolling Loud and BMAC Partner For Social Justice Awareness Cause At Upcoming Miami Show

Rolling Loud Festival cominutes to partner with The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC), heading into the upcoming Rolling Loud Miami 2022, happening at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida on July 22nd to July 24th. Together, BMAC and Rolling Loud prioritize activism, community, and awareness of social justice issues with a series of panel discussions, fundraising initiatives, and more, continuing their mission to fight against all forms of discrimination and inspire the community to be the change they want to see in the world. The Miami partnership continues a relationship with BMAC and Rolling Loud that started at December’s Rolling Loud California.

Throughout the 3-day festival, attendees can experience the BMAC Community Lounge, a space within the festival that celebrates the intersection of music and activism. The BMAC Community Lounge will feature world renowned artist Bradley Theodore, who will paint a portrait over the 3 days that illuminates that intersection. This one of a kind portrait will be auctioned at BMAC’s 2nd Annual Music In Action Awards Gala on September 22nd. Along with the painting, the BMAC Community Lounge boasts some of the hottest DJ’s spinning music, and a merch stand with exclusive Rolling Loud-designed BMAC merch. The BMAC Community Lounge will return in September for Rolling Loud New York.

Rolling Loud and Black Music Action Coalition will host a panel discussion on the Rolling Loud Livestream featuring industry thought leaders, activists, and musicians who have used their platforms to advocate for change. With panelists including BMAC ELC members Amina Diop (former manager of Young Thug) and Attorney Vince Philips (attorney for NBA Youngboy), plus more to be announced, the panel will discuss issues around BMAC’s federal legislation proposal to prohibit the use of rap lyrics to prosecute cases. Rolling Loud and BMAC look to foster an environment where fans can express themselves, explore new ideas, and advocate for whatever they believe in.
