Ascending Atlanta Star Tony Shhnow Shares Video For “Don’t Look At Numbers”

Coming off his critically-acclaimed project ReflexionsTony Shhnow has just shared a new video for “Don’t Look At Numbers. The laid-back track couples Tony’s floating flows with a harmonic and hazy instrumental featuring a clever DJ Screw sample. The psychedelic video showcases Tony parading around a gymnasium, rapping his snappy verse in a kaleidoscope of colorful shots. “Don’t Look At Numbers” is a fan favorite from Tony’s newest projectReflexions, and the animated video only adds to the allure of the exceptional song.

Tony Shhnow is a preeminent figure in Atlanta’s hip-hop scene and his new mixtape, Reflexions is overflowing with a sea of lucid instrumentation, polished finesse, and show-stopping lyricism. From the iconic trap sound and emerging “plugg” scene of his hometown of Atlanta documented by Soundcloud recently, to classic hip-hop wordplay and R&B-inspired beats, Reflexions is an abstract blend of the extensive styles at Tony’s disposal. As described by Pitchfork“The level of lyrical and musical comfort Shhnow displays on Reflexions is almost unnerving.” Not only is Reflexions receiving critical-acclaim, but the project was also recently co-signed by R&B superstar Brent Faiyaz, a nod to the high level of respect fellow musicians have for Tony.

The 18-track tape also includes Tony’s recent singles, “Keep In Touch” and “Last Chance” (feat. Zelooperz), as well as features from OJ Da JuicemanBear1Boss, and Matt OX. This past Spring, Tony hit the road with budding Boston rapper Cousin Stizz for a multi-city tour.
